Marrying young is not the end of my freedom. It means I want to travel and see the world, but with her by my side. It means I still like drinking in bars and dancing in clubs, but stumbling home with her at 2am and eating pizza in our underwear. It means I know that I want to kiss those lips every morning, and every night before bed. If you see marriage as the end of your ‘freedom’, you’re doing it wrong.

Omg

applause for you omg

"Kiss her. Slowly, take your time, there’s no place you’d rather be. Kiss her but not like you’re waiting for something else, like your hands beneath her shirt or her skirt or tangled up in her bra straps. Nothing like that. Kiss her like you’ve forgotten any other mouth that your mouth has ever touched. Kiss her with a curious childish delight. Laugh into her mouth, inhale her sighs. Kiss her until she moans. Kiss her with her face in your hands. Or your hands in her hair. Or pulling her closer at the waist. Kiss her like you want to take her dancing. Like you want to spin her into an open arena and watch her look at you like you’re the brightest thing she’s ever seen. Kiss her like she’s the brightest thing you’ve ever seen. Take your time. Kiss her like the first and only piece of chocolate you’re ever going to taste. Kiss her until she forgets how to count. Kiss her stupid. Kiss her silent. Come away, ask her what 2+2 is and listen to her say your name in answer."

Hey! I have a question and you're the only person I could think of to ask... Why is it that tumblr (not everyone, just in general) praises people who protest against being underweight (in an unhealthy way) but shames anyone who praises people who protest against being overweight (in an unhealthy way). I am genuinely confused. Maybe there's something I'm missing? Please explain to the best of your ability :D Thank you!

theres a general consensus that promotion of being underweight and shaming overweightness is pushing someone towards an unhealthy societal pressure, and that promotion of being overweight is an act of dismantling that societal constraint, which in theory is great.

in actuality though, things are a lot less clear than that. i know countless people who’s natural figures lean more towards one of those extremes, and the shaming of either one of them can cause tremendous self consciousness.

as well as that factor, people do need to take into consideration that some of these situations do warrant actual medical concern. i’m not a doctor and i don’t intend to act like i know more than i do, so i’m not a person who can say which situations where, but i know that thats definitely something thats occurring.

i guess what i’m trying to say is that people tend to see it in a very binary fashion, with only one extreme being “good”. that being said, even people who accept all weights and sizes sometimes fall prey to being ignorant to when someone’s weight is actually medically worrying and shouldn’t just be blindly accepted.

its a very contradictory issue.

I miss you late at night, when you’re the only love I have.
